Mackin Projects and SITE 57 hosted a pop-up of Kayrock publications on their underground level concurrent with their exhibition of Michael Zelohoski's work Surface Tension. This pop-up featured fine art editions, Fresh Prints!, artist books, design objects, and rock posters. LaRocca has been designing rock posters for bands ranging from the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s to Oakley Hall, The Rapture to TV on the Radio since the late 90’s.

Participating artists include Ben Degen, Michael Hambouz, Karl LaRocca, Robert Lazzarini, Taylor McKimens, Dean Monogenis, Kristen Schiele, Alfred Steiner and others.

Founded in 1998 by Karl LaRocca, Kayrock is a Greenpoint-based screenprinting studio specializing in fine art editions, artists' books, and custom prints. Kayrock regularly participates in art fairs such as Volta, EAB, Affordable Art Fair and others, and in 2016, LaRocca created an exhibition space in the Studio in order to feature collaborating artists. They also dabble in publishing really cool design objects, totes, t-shirts and just about any medium you can print on designed by artists.
